Since the pandemic started in 2020, the Indonesian government has only allowed airports in the capital Jakarta to be opened to accept all international flights.
When you land in Jakarta, you must first quarantine before you are allowed to continue your journey to other cities in Indonesia.

5 days and 4 nights / 3 days and 2 night Quarantine
Regarding the new regulations issued by Mr. Luhut Binsar Panjaitan as the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs on 14 February 2022: the 3-day quarantine is only for foreigners and Indonesian citizens who have received the COVID-19 booster vaccine or advanced doses.
If you have already received two doses of vaccines, you need to be quarantined for 5 days and 4 nights, and 3 days and 2 nights if you have received the third vaccine or booster.

Enter Indonesia with a B211A Business Visa
If you hold a B211A Business Visa, you can enter Indonesia from your country to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Jakarta or Sam Ratulangi International Airport Manado and do quarantine in Jakarta or Manado.

With a Tourist Visa, you can enter Indonesia from your country to Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Jakarta, International Haji Fisabillilah Airport Tanjung Pinang, and International Hang Nadim Airport Batam, You can do quarantine in those 4 cities where you landed. After you finish quarantine, you can stay or travel anywhere during your stay in Indonesia.
Book your Quarantine Hotel in Indonesia in advance
If you have plans to travel to Indonesia, we recommend that you book a hotel room in advance before you depart to Indonesia. You have to be able to show the booking confirmation from the hotel quarantine to immigration staff at the Indonesian airports upon your arrival.

Strict Vaccination policy to enter Indonesia / Bali
All foreigners who plan to enter Indonesia must exhibit a certificate showing full vaccination (1 or 2 doses depending on the brand) that can be verified using barcode, according to the latest regulations issued on July 5, 2021.
If you haven’t received the vaccine yet, please register yourself to be vaccinated immediately, because the Indonesian Government doesn’t provide free vaccines for foreigners who hold a B211A Business Visa.

IMEI registration
Also, make sure you register your IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) when you arrive at Indonesia Airport (Jakarta, Bali, Batam, or Tanjung Pinang).

Leave your passport at the reception
Based on the latest regulation from the Indonesian COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force, guests who are undergoing the mandatory quarantine stay at an appointed hotel, are now required to deposit their passports with the Hotel Representative at the airport.
Your passport will be kept in safe at the reception of your hotel.
Please keep the receipt from your passport deposit to collect your passport upon check out from the hotel.

PCR Test during quarantine in Indonesia
According to current regulations, when checking in to the hotel, a PCR test (the first) is immediately carried out and the second PCR will be carried out one day before check out.
We make sure the clearance letter and PCR results are issued on the next day before your check out time.
Please remember, even though you have received a second vaccine or even a booster in your country, you still have to do a PCR test, because on your way to Indonesia you are still at risk of being infected and transmitting it to other people who have not been vaccinated.

Sharing a hotel room during quarantine
If you are traveling with your family (spouse and children), you can quarantine in 1 room, you must choose rooms with 2 bedrooms and semi apartments with balconies. The price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner packages for 4 people, if your children want a simple menu specially for children, you can order from room service.
For those who are traveling with a partner or friend, you can also quarantine in the same room, as long as you both fly on the same plane.
If you come on a different flight, you will have to quarantine in separate rooms.

For those of you who have dietary restrictions or special menus, be sure to check with the hotel you are going to book in advance whether they can fulfill your special menu. We recommend that you book a hotel with a 5-Stars Type category, because based on the experience of our clients, only 5-Stars hotels can fulfill special menus with dietary restrictions.

For those of you who still have to work during the quarantine period, you can use the Wi-Fi provided in each room.
Almost all hotels in the Budget category provide free Wi-Fi with speeds of 2 – 5 Mbps per room. If you need a faster Wi-Fi, we recommend that you book a 5 star hotel from our partner hotels, because on average they provide Wi-Fi with a speed of 10 – 25 Mbps for each room.

During quarantine, you are not allowed to leave your room even to the swimming pool.
Police/guard officers will be on guard 24 hours on each floors of the hotel that are not equipped with CCTV, while hotels with CCTV will be monitored from security rooms.
