Cost me 5,000,000 in Overstay fees!
Avoid if you value your money — overstay fines caused by their miscommunication

I used Gaya Bali Visa after being referred to them and deeply regret it.

Due to poor communication and lack of clarity during my visa process, I ended up being fined for overstay when exiting Indonesia. This was not because I ignored instructions, but because critical information about deadlines and requirements was not clearly communicated.

What made this worse:

No clear, direct warning about final exit dates

Information relayed indirectly instead of directly to me as the client

When the issue was raised, there was no accountability, no compensation, and no meaningful apology

Visa agencies deal with high-risk, time-sensitive compliance issues. Clear, direct communication is not optional — it’s the entire job.

If an agency’s mistake costs a client money, the minimum expectation is ownership and professionalism. That did not happen here.

I strongly advise anyone considering this agency to think carefully and get everything in writing, directly addressed to you — or choose another provider entirely.
