What is a C1 Tourist Visa

With a C1 Tourist Visa, you can enter Indonesia through any international airport and seaport in Indonesia/Bali that is already open.

This visa is for Single Entry only. So, once you leave Indonesia, the visa will not be valid anymore and if you want to go back, you have to apply for a new visa to enter Indonesia.

Upon receiving your E-Visa, you have 90 days to enter Indonesia from the date of your E-Visa issued. Please note this is not your stay permit validity in Indonesia, but only the visa validity before you use it to enter Indonesia.

How long is the Visa valid?

In total the Visa is valid for 180 days

You will get 60 days starting on the date of your arrival in Indonesia (You will find your stay permit validity on the immigration arrival stamp in your passport).

After the 60 days if you want to stay longer in Indonesia/Bali you can extend the C1 Tourist Visa for up to 2 times without the need to leaving the country.

Each extension will add you another 60 days to your stay in Indonesia.

So in total with the 2 extension you can stay in the country for up to 180 days.

After 180 days can I apply for a new C1 Tourist Visa?

As a result of the new regulation, on C1 Tourist Visa you can only stay in Indonesia up to the end of your 2nd visa extension (180 days) – there is no longer an option to apply for B211A onshore.

If you want to stay longer after you exit the country you can apply for a new C1 Tourist Visa and stay in Indonesia/Bali for another total of a 180 days.

Who Can Apply For C1 Tourist Visa?

It is for you that are still overseas, and fully vaccinated (children below 12 years old aren’t required for vaccines) whose countries are not listed as Calling Visa countries.

Can I work or earn money using this visa?

Unfortunately, you are not permitted to work or earn any money in Indonesia/Bali as the purposes of the Visa are for tourism only.

GAYA BALI VISA acts as your agent to sponsor the C1 Tourist Visa, facilitating visits for purposes such as seeing family or friends, engaging in tourism activities, and attending meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions as an attendee.

It is crucial to note that if you hold this visa you are strictly prohibited from earning money or engaging in employment within Indonesia. Additionally, any form of business promotion in Indonesia is expressly forbidden under the terms of this visa.

As an alternative, should you be hired by an Indonesian company, you can apply for E25 Working KITAS or if you wish to set up a business of your own in Indonesia, then let us help you with the Company Setup!
