What Is E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months?
The E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months, also known as the Freelancer KITAS, is linked with the working permit (IMTA).
This permit allows foreigners to live and work in Indonesia for up to 6 months without the need for a specific employer. It serves as a legal work permit issued by the Indonesian government.
This KITAS is ideal for professions such as DJs, fitness trainers, yoga teachers, retreat coaches, photographers, and more. With this permit, you can work at any location and have multiple contracts with clients or companies.
There are no restrictions on your workplace, enabling you to work as a freelancer legally.

Multiple Entry Privilege
This KITAS includes a Multiple Re-entry Permit. During 6 months, you are allowed to exit and enter anytime as long your KITAS is still valid.
How many days after the E-visa I have to enter the country?
Once you’ve successfully obtained your E-Visa, you’ll have a 90-day window to enter Indonesia from the release date.
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience, it’s advisable to carefully review your flight details and initiate the visa application process at least 1 month before your planned arrival.
Can I extend the E23 Freelance KITAS?
The E23 Freelance Entertainment KITAS is non-extendable, so you will have to apply for a new one 1 month before the existing one has expired.
You will be required to fly out when re-applying to this KITAS.
Document required for the application of the E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months
E23 Entertainment KITAS submissions require documents that are still valid within two months.
You should provide us:
- A complete address of your current residence in Indonesia.
- Scan the first page of the passport.
- Bank statement (name should be written there and minimum USD 1,500).
- Scan color insurance (min valid 1 month).
- Scan the Bachelor’s Degree certificate in English (legalize).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Fully Vaccinated Certificate (only for offshore).
- Photo of yourself in formal clothes
All other documents will be provided by us as your sponsor.

The process will take maximum 45 Days (does not include weekends & public holidays).
In addition to these fees, you will also need to purchase government insurance for 6 months, which costs IDR 2,477,000 from Astaka.

- Indonesian Company Bank Accounts: If you pay through a company bank account, especially a company from Indonesia, you will have to pay the 2% of tax on your expenses – this case only if you report the transaction.
