What is E33 Second Home KITAS?
E33 Second Home KITAS is a visa that is issued for foreigners that wants to stay in Indonesia/Bali for 5 (five) years, with the possibility of extension.
It is just a visa for your stay in Indonesia/Bali, you are not allowed to work in Indonesia under the E33 Second Home KITAS.
What are you allowed to do with this visa?
With the E33 Second Home KITAS you can:
- Reside in Indonesia for 5 years.
- Engage in business and investment activities.
- Include eligible family members in your application.
- Apply for Indonesian citizenship, if eligible.
- Pursue education or studies.
- Work remotely for an overseas company (not based in Indonesia)
Can you work with the E33 Second Home KITAS?
You are prohibited to work with E33 Second Home KITAS. You can work remotely for an overseas company but not for a company in Indonesia.
How long is the process?
It will take 1 month to complete the process, 3 weeks to process the visa, and 1 week to report to the immigration offices in Denpasar.
Can I apply for the Visa offshore or inshore?
The E33 Second Home KITAS is only for the offshore process at the moment.
If you are still in Indonesia right now, you can wait until the process for the visa is done (based on your current visa validity) and then you can fly out once the E33 Second Home KITAS is issued.
You can then now fly back and enter Indonesia/Bali with the E33 Second Home KITAS.
What is the price for the Visa?

Destinations such as Jimbaran, Sanur, Nusa Dua, Canggu, Uluwatu, Gianyar, Ubud, Tabanan, and the surrounding areas, including Padang Bai port, will be subject to additional charges.Please send us your flight details and address max. 2 days before your arrival date. Without confirmation, we will not be able to arrange your pick-up.
The price is all included and no hidden fees. Please noted we can’t provide you renewal price at the moment.
Document Required for the Application
- Proof of Financial Eligibility:
- Deposit USD 130,000 (IDR 2,015,000,000) in a state-owned bank account under your name, or
- Purchase property in Indonesia (e.g., an apartment or house) valued at USD 1,000,000 (IDR 15,500,000,000) Note: These must be reported within 90 days of arrival. We will handle the reporting, but you must provide the original documents.
- Dependent Documentation (if applicable):
- Birth certificate or family card proving the applicant is the child or parent of the Second-Home Visa holder (translated into Indonesian unless already in English).
- Personal Documentation:
- Recent passport-size photo, a selfie with any background is fine
- Scanned/color copy of your passport valid for at least 9 months, with 2 empty pages. Travel documents are not accepted for this KITAS.
- Curriculum Vitae summarizing your professional and academic background
- Travel Itinerary detailing your trip, including flights, accommodations, and planned activities (e.g., investment meetings in Indonesia)
- Your address in Indonesia. Since you’re applying for a KITAS, it’s better to have or rent a place for the long term. Moving frequently would require you to report each address change and pay IDR 1,500,000 – IDR 2,000,000 for each update
Changing Address
As long as your KITAS is still active, here is what you need to do if you change your address:
- Report the New Address: Notify Gaya Bali Visa of your new address.
- Obtain a Domicile Letter: Visit the Banjar office at your new address to get a Domicile Letter.
This process also applies when renewing your KITAS. If your address has changed from the one on your initial KITAS, you will need to:
- Report the Change: Inform Gaya Bali Visa of your new address.
- Provide a Domicile Letter: Submit the new Domicile Letter to immigration for your KITAS renewal.
This ensures that all records are up-to-date and your KITAS remains valid.
Payment Methods
Our accepted payment methods are Wise, Credit Card, Revolut, and Western Union.
Please note:
- PayPal and International Bank Transfer are not accepted due to delays and high fees.
- Wise: To make your payment process faster, please use our email address as the Wise Recipient: [email protected]
- Revolut: We will begin processing once the full invoice amount is received in our bank account. Please make sure the amount of money we will receive must match the amount on the invoice, if there is a difference due to deductions or because you underpaid, you must pay the difference.
- Credit Card payments: Send us a confirmation to receive the payment link. This method incurs an additional 3% charge.
- Indonesian Company Bank Accounts: If you pay through a company bank account, especially a company from Indonesia, you will have to pay the 2% of tax on your expenses – this case only if you report the transaction.
