What is the minimum age for a Retirement KITAS?
How long can I stay in Bali with this type of Permit?
You can extend it up to 5 years in total.
After that you can convert your KITAS into a KITAP that gives you a permanent resident permit.
It will be valid for 5 years and it can be extended as many times as you want.
Benefits of staying with C319 Retirement KITAS
Compared to other visas like for example the Social Visa the Retirement KITAS allows you to stay longer and to extend your permit without having to leave the country.
But that’s not the only benefit. With the Retirement KITAS you are also allowed to:
- open a bank account under your name
- get the local driving license
- freely enter and exit Indonesia as you wish without having to pay extra Visa fee
- purchase a vehicle on your name
- get local prices and discount
What documents are required to apply for the Retirement KITAS?
- a scanned / Copy color of the ID pages of your passport with validity 20 months and minimum 2 empty pages in your passport
- have at least IDR 200,000,000 in your account under your name
- proof that your monthly income or pension is at least IDR 20,000,000 per month
- a color copy of your Health Insurance and Death Insurance
- provide a lease agreement with a minimum duration of 12 months
- scanned ID card of Indonesian house owner or landowner (basically your landlord)
- scanned ID card of two of your Indonesian household staff ( you need to have at least two employee that are working for you at your house for example for cleaning service and pool maintenance)
- a scanned photograph of you with red background
Are you allowed to work with a Retirement KITAS?
To work you need to have a working permit connected to an Indonesia company or you can open your own company here in Bali.
Do I have to be In Bali to apply?
When you apply for a Retirement KITAS the process can be only done if you are in Indonesia.
For example with a Business Visa we can convert it into a Retirement Kitas without you having to leave the country.
The process is simple and hassle free:
- we will submit all documents to immigration system which takes about 14 business days at most to get the E-VITAS
- after the E-VITAS you will have 30 days to submit your original passport
- we will schedule biometrics registration at Immigration
- passport is ready with C319 Retirement KITAS
What is the price and time to obtain a Retirement KITAS?
Our price for a new Retirement KITAS is IDR 13,500,000. For the renewal we charge IDR 11,000,000.
The time required to process the Visa is usually around 35 business days.

Process for the C319 Retirement Kitas
The e-Visa will be valid for 90 days. Before the e-Visa expires, you must enter Indonesia.
