What Is E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months?
The E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months, also known as the Freelancer KITAS, is linked with the working permit (IMTA).
This permit allows foreigners to live and work in Indonesia for up to 6 months without the need for a specific employer. It serves as a legal work permit issued by the Indonesian government.
This KITAS is ideal for professions such as DJs, fitness trainers, yoga teachers, retreat coaches, photographers, and more. With this permit, you can work at any location and have multiple contracts with clients or companies.
There are no restrictions on your workplace, enabling you to work as a freelancer legally.

Multiple Entry Privilege
This KITAS includes a Multiple Re-entry Permit. During 6 months, you are allowed to exit and enter anytime as long your KITAS is still valid.
How many days after the E-visa I have to enter the country?
Once you’ve successfully obtained your E-Visa, you’ll have a 90-day window to enter Indonesia from the release date.
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience, it’s advisable to carefully review your flight details and initiate the visa application process at least 1 month before your planned arrival.
Can I extend the E23 Freelance KITAS?
The E23 Freelance Entertainment KITAS is non-extendable, so you will have to apply for a new one 1 month before the existing one has expired.
You will be required to fly out when re-applying to this KITAS.
Document required for the application of the E23 Freelance Entertainement KITAS 6 Months
E23 Entertainment KITAS submissions require following documents. Please review the mandatory quality requirements carefully to avoid delays:
- Passport scan (color) – cover + data page
- Valid for at least 6 months with minimum 2 empty pages
- Must be sharp and clear, not blurry, not cropped, not folded, not ghosted, and without fingers covering any information.
- Landscape format
Indonesia Immigration may refuse entry if the passport is damaged (loose cover, torn pages, water damage, peeling plastic, unofficial stickers/marks, etc.)
- Recent personal photo
- Clear and in focus
- Half body, not only head and chest
- No blurry or expression-style photos
- Personal bank statement (last 3 months)
- Minimum final balance USD 2,000 or equivalent
- Must include full name, statement period dates, and full activity of money in/out.
- Bachelor’s degree certificate in English (legalized copy)
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- A detailed document highlighting professional and academic background
- Travel Itinerary
- Include flight details, hotel accommodations, and activity schedule in Bali
- Adjust the itinerary to match the duration of stay
- If visiting other cities in Indonesia, please also provide hotel addresses and domestic flight details
- Color scan of health insurance valid for at least 1 month
- The insurance must be purchased through the government system (ASTAKA), not from your home country
- Address in Indonesia
- Villa or hotel address is acceptable

The process will take maximum 45 Days (does not include weekends & public holidays).
In addition to these fees, you will also need to purchase government insurance for 6 months, which costs IDR 2,500,000 from Astaka.

- Revolut: We will begin processing once the full invoice amount is received in our bank account. Please make sure the amount of money we will receive must match the amount on the invoice, if there is a difference due to deductions or because you underpaid, you must pay the difference.
- Credit Card payments: Send us a confirmation to receive the payment link. This method incurs an additional 3% charge.
- Indonesian Company Bank Accounts: If you pay through a company bank account, especially a company from Indonesia, you will have to pay the 2% of tax on your expenses – this case only if you report the transaction.
