What is E31 Family KITAS?
The E31 Family KITAS in Indonesia is the updated version of the C317 Family/Spouse KITAS, based on the latest index.
It has undergone a detailed restructuring, offering distinct categories to cater to specific familial situations:
- E31A – Spouse of Indonesian Citizen 1 Year or 2 Years: This visa is intended for foreign nationals who are legally married to an Indonesian citizen.
- E31B – Spouse of Foreign ITAS/ITAP Holder (1-Year or 2-Year KITAS): This visa is intended for foreign nationals who are legally married to a foreigner holding a valid ITAS or ITAP in Indonesia.
- E31C – Child of Indonesian Citizen 1 Year or 2 Years: Applicable to children born from a legal marriage, where either parent is an Indonesian citizen and officially recognized by the Ministry of Home Affairs of Indonesia or the Indonesian Mission.
- E31D – Child of Foreigners 1 Year or 2 Years: Reserved for children of foreign nationals legally married to Indonesian citizens.
- E31E – Child Visa 1 Year or 2 Years: This visa is intended for foreign nationals who will join their parents in Indonesia as an unmarried minor (under 18 years old) of Limited Stay Visa or limited stay permit or permanent residence permit holder, such are Employee, General Investment, Research activities, Student, Diaspora, Retirement, Remote worker, Secondhome, and Golden.
Price for the E31 Family KITAS?
The price for E31 Family KITAS is IDR 12,000,000 for 1 year and IDR 16,000,000 for 2 years.
The price for E31B – Spouse of Foreign ITAS/ITAP Holder is IDR 11,500,000 for 1 year and IDR 16,000,000 for 2 years.
The price for E31E – Child Visa is IDR 10,500,000 for 1 year and IDR 15,500,000 for 2 years

- Complimentary airport pickup from Bali Airport for drop-off in Legian, Kuta, and Seminyak
(Additional charges apply for other areas: Jimbaran, Sanur, Canggu, Uluwatu, Gianyar, Ubud, Tabanan, etc.).

What are the required documents?
Here are the requirement documents for the E31 Family KITAS:
- A scanned/color copy of your passport and cover of your passport.
- Your passport needs to be valid for at least 9 months and you must have at least 2 empty pages.
- Note: Foreigners with Travel Documents that are not passport or nationality documents must attach a re-entry permit from the country/immigration that issued the document.
- Make sure the photo of your passport is sharp, in focus, not ghosted, not covered, not cropped or folded, and not blurry.
- Make sure the passport photo is in landscape form.
- A recent passport-size photo of yourself.
- Unrecommended photo: Blurry photo, Other than face photo, Expression face photo.
- Make sure your photo shows half the body, not just the chest and head
- A personal bank statement is required, showing a minimum final balance of USD 2,000 or equivalent for the last 3 months. The statement should include your name, the date of the period covered, and the account balance details.
- Proof of guarantee from the Guarantor or a statement of commitment.
- Provide us with your address in Indonesia. Whether you are staying in a villa or a hotel, both options are acceptable.
Changing Address
As long as your KITAS is still active, here is what you need to do if you change your address:
- Report the New Address: Notify Gaya Bali Visa of your new address.
- Obtain a Domicile Letter: Visit the Banjar office at your new address to get a Domicile Letter.
This process also applies when renewing your KITAS. If your address has changed from the one on your initial KITAS, you will need to:
- Report the Change: Inform Gaya Bali Visa of your new address.
- Provide a Domicile Letter: Submit the new Domicile Letter to immigration for your KITAS renewal.
This ensures that all records are up-to-date and your KITAS remains valid.
Payment Methods
Our accepted payment methods are Wise, Credit Card, Revolut, and Western Union.
Please note:
- PayPal and International Bank Transfer are not accepted due to delays and high fees.
- Wise: To make your payment process faster, please use our email address as the Wise Recipient: [email protected]
- Revolut: We will begin processing once the full invoice amount is received in our bank account. Please make sure the amount of money we will receive must match the amount on the invoice, if there is a difference due to deductions or because you underpaid, you must pay the difference.
- Credit Card payments: Send us a confirmation to receive the payment link. This method incurs an additional 3% charge.
- Indonesian Company Bank Accounts: If you pay through a company bank account, especially a company from Indonesia, you will have to pay the 2% of tax on your expenses – this case only if you report the transaction.
